Further Proof That the Tigerhawk is Always Fashionable

We love seeing tigerhawks in unusual places. At random sporting events not involving Iowa? Great. On a Japanese subway? Excellent. In a K-pop music video? THE BEST. 

So naturally we were delighted to find out that the tigerhawk turned up at Paris Fashion Week this year.

Iowa football helmets: the ideal accessory for both Girls Generation and Paris Fashion Week. So sleek! So sexy! So versatile!

The Iowa helmets appeared (alongside helmets from Clemson and Texas) as part of a fashion line (called Off-White) being debuted by Virgil Abloh. Abloh, who also goes by DJ Flat White in the music world, is the artistic director for Louis Vitton, as SB Nation noted. He's also a Wisconsin alum, although I think it's clear he's ashamed of his Badger background, as evidenced by his decision to use much cooler-looking Iowa gear as part of his new line rather than dopey-looking Wisconsin gear. (Or maybe he just accepts that the motion W is trash.)  

But seriously: the tigerhawk is a timeless and iconic logo, admired the world over. It's stood the test of time for almost 40 years now and should continue to do so for decades to come. We can't wait to see where it turns up next.
