Tyler Endres

Offensive Tackle
Hometown (High School): Norwalk, IA (Norwalk)
Height: 6'6"
Weight: 285
247 Composite Ranking: 4-stars, 30th best offensive tackle.
Other Offers: Iowa State, Minnesota, Wisconsin.

One of the crown jewels of the 2019 class, Endres committed to Iowa back in June of 2017. A consensus 4-star recruit, Endres chose the Hawkeyes over Iowa State, Minnesota and Wisconsin. Like Ezra Miller, you figured a 4-star guy would have more interest but also like Miller, it’s clear that Endres was a solid verbal due to the timing of his commitment. ESPN considers Endres the best recruit in the state and after watching these senior year highlights, you can see why:

Endres plays offensive tackle on both sides of the field and upon further review of that video, is a very large human being. For those of you who aren’t aware, Norwalk is a 3A school, the second largest class of schools in Iowa. They play the likes of Indianola, Newton, Oskaloosa, and Pella. These aren’t small schools, they’re just not the size of Valley. With his size and skill set, Endres could challenge for a reserve spot his true freshman season. You could be looking at Iowa’s left/right tackle of the future.

Welcome aboard, Tyler.
