Justin Britt

Offensive Guard
Hometown (High School): Indianapolis, IN (Warren Central)
Height: 6'4"
Weight: 286 lbs
247 Composite Ranking: 3-stars, 31st best offensive guard.
Other Offers: Purdue, Arizona, Cincinnati, Louisville, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Washington State, Western Michigan.

Hailing from the same high school as former Hawkeye Jewel Hampton and current Hawkeye Julius Brents (is it possible they only recruit players with J names?), Warren Central in Indianapolis, Britt committed to Iowa back in June following a recruiting event. He’s 6’4", 286 pounds and has an offer list from a host of programs around the Midwest. He played tackle and guard in high school and is being recruited as an offensive guard. Here are his junior year highlights:

With his size and skill, Britt doesn’t seem like the type of player who will need to spend too much time with Chris Doyle before seeing the field. Chances are we’ll see him sooner rather than later. (Ed. Note: We forgot he tore an ACL earlier this fall, so probably won't be seeing him sooner rather than later... get well soon, Justin!)

Welcome aboard, Justin.
