Bye week? I wish I could take a bye week, but instead, I am here giving you picks because I am a great guy. After our 8-3 opening week, things have taken a very bad turn as we have gone 9-12-2 since. We are still above .500 so no need to panic……yet.

Big Ten

Michigan State -9.5 at Northwestern (11:00 AM CST, ABC)

#MSUnders are now 2-1 after what can only be described as the most beautiful football game ever against Arizona State. A 10-7 score is harder to get than a 56-49 score these days. We will continue to roll with unders until Michigan State proves they can play offense against real teams, which isn't likely to happen anytime soon. Look at these stats that The Bear pointed out!

Additionally, since 2017 MSU games have gone UNDER the total 62% of the time by an average of 6.8 points.

PICK: #MSUnders 39

#13 Wisconsin -3.5 vs #11 Michigan (11:00 AM CST, FOX)

Remember those people who picked Wisconsin to finish 3rd in the Big Ten West this year? LOL, what a bunch of idiots. Wisconsin has looked absolutely terrifying so far. They have not given up a point and have the best running back in the country. They are going to bully Jim Harbaugh right out of town and maybe even out of the Big Ten Conference.

PICK: WISCONSIN -3.5

#6 Ohio State -39 vs Miami Ohio (2:30 PM CST, BTN)

The poor Redhawks. They opened the year with a 24-point loss to Iowa, then had a 22-point loss to Cincinnati, and now have to travel to Ohio State for a game. I can’t imagine that is much fun. Their only hope of staying within 50 points is if Ohio State gets caught looking ahead to their game next week vs Nebraska. I am banking on that happening.  Buckeyes by 35!

PICK: MIAMI +39

Nebraska -13 vs Illinois (7:00 PM CST, BTN)

Nebraska only opened as a 7-point favorite in this game, which is weird because the future national champions should never be a single-digit favorite vs Illinois. The line quickly jumped to 13 and I still don’t think that is enough. Not because Nebraska is good, because they are not, but because Illinois is that bad. Much like Miami (OH) vs Ohio State, the only hope Illinois has is if Nebraska gets caught looking forward to their primetime game vs Ohio State next week.

Pick: Nebraska -13

RANDOM PICKS BECAUSE THE BIG TEN IS FULL OF LAZY MILLENIALS THAT NEEDED A WEEK OFF

#10 Utah -3.5 at USC (FRIDAY 8:00 PM CST, FS1)

Fun fact: The home team has won this match up six times in a row. Another fun fact: Utah has never beaten USC at the Coliseum (or, since 2011 at least…I am not going to look back any further). Both streaks end here!

Pick: Utah -3.5

Iowa State -18.5 vs Louisiana Monroe (11:00 AM CST, FS1)

Pick: Lolz

#15 UCF -11.5 at Pitt (2:30 PM CST, ABC/ESPN 2)

UCF has been free money all year, easily covering the spread in their first three games. We are riding with the Golden Knights until Vegas puts some RESPECT on their names.

Pick: UCF -11.5

#8 Auburn +3.5 @ #17 Texas A&M (2:30 PM CST, CBS)

Freshman QB for Auburn in his first real road start against Texas A&M and the 12th man. I hate this pick so much I am starting to actually like it.

Pick: Auburn +3.5

#7 Notre Dame +14.5 @ #3 Georgia (7:00 PM CST, CBS)

Yes, I know Georgia is very good but a 14.5 point spread in a top 10 matchup seems a little excessive to me. Add that in with the fact that 64% of the money is currently on Georgia to cover and this guy might even sprinkle a little something on Notre Dame straight up!

Pick: Notre Dame +14.5

Colorado State +9.5 vs Toledo (9:15 PM CST, ESPN 2)

In 2018, the final Thursday Night Color Rush game was played in the NFL. As someone who was 24-4-1 picking those games ATS, this was an absolute tragedy. Since that day we have been lost with no happiness in sight. Thursday nights went from guaranteed winners to absolute nightmares. Luckily, College football has given us a chance to get our mojo back this week as Colorado State will be rocking Color Rush-esque jerseys. GO RAMS.

Pick: Colorado State +9.5
