WE FINALLY HAD A WINNING WEEKEND!!! We finished 7-5, which is great because if we had another losing weekend I was going to have to decide between selling my car or my kidney. Iowa continued to disappoint us with a lack of offense, Maryland let us down, but other than that week 7 wasn't completely miserable (unless you are a Nebraska fan...yikes!).

As for week 8, we have a bunch of BIG spreads this week, we're talking 25+ points. This may seem like easy money with the top teams in the Big Ten playing the worst teams, but don’t fall for it, IT IS ALL A TRAP! Speaking of traps, is Headstrong by TRAPT the greatest song of all time?

Yes, it is. TO THE PICKS!

#4 Ohio State -28 @ Northwestern (FRIDAY 7:30 PM CST, FS1)

A Friday night game against a Northwestern team that has been terrible all season…A top 10 match-up vs Wisconsin next weekend……Is this a trap game for Ohio State?

IT'S A TRAP

YES, IT IS A TRAP GAME FOR OHIO STATE YOU IDIOT! Northwestern won’t win because they can’t score points, but they will cover, I GUARANTEE IT!

PICK: Northwestern +28

#6 Wisconsin -28.5 @ Illinois (11:00 AM CST, BTN)

A Saturday afternoon game against an Illinois team that put up somewhat of a fight against Michigan last weekend…A top 10 match-up vs Ohio State next weekend……Is this a trap game for Wisconsin?

IT'S STILL A TRAP

YES, IT IS A TRAP GAME FOR WISCONSIN YOU IDIOT! Illinois won’t win because they are really bad, but they will cover, I GUARANTEE IT!

PICK: Illinois +28.5

#23 Iowa -17.5 vs Purdue (11:00 am CST, ESPN2)

Iowa should be ashamed of themselves. You absolutely CANNOT wear bright yellow jerseys and only score 12 points. If you bust those things out you are legally required to score AT LEAST 45 points. They should have to wear practice jerseys for the rest of the year. Anyway, after back-to-back losses to top 25 teams, Iowa is somehow favored by 17.5 points vs Purdue. Iowa scored 15 points combined in their last two games, so this spread is uhh…weird. Purdue looked semi-competent last weekend as they destroyed Maryland too, so yeah…I am not sure what to do here. After two bad weeks, I think Iowa’s offense breaks out of its funk and puts up some points. I don’t think they will cover, but I do think this game is going OVER 48.

PICK: Purdue +17.5 & OVER 48

Indiana -5.5 vs Maryland (2:30 PM CST, BTN)

We put a lot of faith in Maryland last weekend to beat Purdue and they blew it. I’m not mad at Maryland, just disappointed. Indiana is our #DisappointedDadPickOfTheDay

PICK: Indiana -5.5

Minnesota -28.5 @ Rutgers (2:30 PM CST, BTN)

Another huge spread, but this time it is not big enough. Honestly, I think this spread could be Minnesota -40 and I would still take the Gophers to cover. Rutgers has scored seven (7) points in their four (4) Big Ten games, how is that even possible????

PICK: ROW THE BOAT -28.5

#7 Penn State -9 vs #16 Michigan

I don’t know about this game. I think Michigan stinks, but also I do not know if Penn State is as good as everyone thinks. We are going to bank on a defensive battle, so take the under.

PICK: UNDER 47

BIG GAMES, BIGGER WINNERS

#12 Oregon -3 @ #25 Washington: Sometimes I watch Oregon and wonder if Justin Herbert is playing bad on purpose to avoid getting drafted by the Dolphins...Smart kid.

#17 Arizona State +13.5 @ #13 Utah: Who would have thought that after two years Herm Edwards would turn out to be a better hire than Scott Frost...What a world. The total for this game is 45, we are taking the OVER.

#14 Boise State -6.5 @ BYU: I would be fine if we returned to a world where Boise State went undefeated every year.

Oklahoma State -4 vs #18 Baylor: Oklahoma State, 2021 Big 12 Champions, mark it down now.

Air Force -3 vs Hawaii: A lot of people think traveling to Hawaii means your team is screwed, but they are wrong. Hawaii is just 6-14 ATS as the home team since 2016. Also, LOOK AT THESE AIR FORCE JERSEYS.

YTD Record: 37-38-2
