The world is a better place with this song.
I was hoping for a Seger cover.
I strongly considered Main Street. I also got through half of a Kid Rock cover before I ran out of jokes.
Michigan back in aught-3 was working on those Night Moves when Kirk was just a young pup, stood too tall, coulda used a few pounds. But Kirk decided to Turn the Page on them and stay on that long lonesome highway east of Omaha.
JUST TAKE THEM '77 PITT RECORDS OFF THE SHELF. I'LL SIT AND LISTEN TO THEM BY MYSELF. TODAY'S FOOTBALL AIN'T GOT THE SAME SOUL. I LIKE THAT OLD TIME OUTSIDE ZONE.
DON'T EVER TELL ME TO DO TRAPS OR PULLS. YOU'LL NEVER EVEN GET ME TO GO FOR IT DOWN FOUR. IN TEN MINUTES I'LL FINISH 8-4. I LIKE THAT OLD TIME PUNT TO WIN.
I spent half my life's earnings on wine, women, and song. The other half I wasted.
I never wanted to Fire Ferentz. Good bye and good luck, Gary.
Kirk is older now, but still running...
against the wind.
masterpiece. not much else to say.

I would not be surprised if Jim Harbaugh... had... birth... marks... all over his body...
I have so many thoughts about this song, all of them about how awesome it is. Bravo.
Listening to this just made being at work today worth it.
Kirk Ferentz: "The biggest thing I have is the length. It’s going to be boring as can be."
I guess I forgot that you never ever make a mistake, Pat!
I can get 70 miles to the gallon on this hog.

This is how you spend your working hours? Just when I think your actions couldn’t get any lower, you go and do something like this terrible photoshop.
Aww, they're all borked for me
I was born in 1992. I honestly don't think I'd ever heard the original version of this song, so this just sounded like PV butchered the hell out of it to me. Then I went and listened to Crash Test Dummies. Now, I gotta say, its a lot closer to a cover than I realized. Well done!
Ah jeez I had this single on cassette. Now I feel very old.
I had the album. I always thought cassingles were a waste, because for $6-7 more you got like 10 more songs.

This. Unless it was the single with 3 different extended versions and a couple of b-sides. Then....maybe.

I lived before hearing Total Detest Live,
but now, I'm not sure I can live without it.
That "Give us 14" part near the end is the best.
Do you like Patrick Vint? I've been a big Go Audio Awesome fan ever since the release of their third song, M M M M. Before that, I really didn't understand their work. Too artsy, too intellectual. It was on M M M M where Patrick's presence became more apparent. I think Total Detest Live 3 was the undisputed masterpiece. It's an epic meditation on intangibility. At the same time, it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding songs. Christy, take off your robe.
Awesome! My favorite one so far.
I feel like you're slowly zeroing in on your vocal range. It's a lot (a lot alot) lower than ol' Bruce, a good bit lower than Diamond Dave, but the Crash Test Dummies are great vehicle for your dulcet tones.
I can state unequivocally that listening to this was the best part of my Saturday
Just another garbage commenter spreading my *sshole all over the internet.
