Can the "blackshirt" defense stop David Bell?  At home?  Magic 8-ball says NO.

And we will all point West and laugh

This week is garbage.  Almost half the conference is on a bye?

BOOOOOO

More importantly pretty much all of the teams people would actually WANT to watch are on bye.

Lol at nobody wanting to watch the Harbaughs. It’s funny cuz it’s true.

Pig shit you say? Smells like $7 Billion to me.

Also, fire Gary Barta.

So apparently this is what Indiana was steamed about re: Nebraska ahead of last week's game.

“I’m very, very happy for our kids and very, very happy for our fans, because like Tom said tonight, we’re sick of talking about how close we’ve been, one to a signature win and two to qualify for a bowl,” Glass told the IndyStar. “To hit both of those things today at Nebraska was particularly gratifying, particularly knowing Nebraska’s staff had no respect for our program.”

Per a couple of sources around the conference, Frost had allegedly raised complaints that Nebraska’s schedule was too difficult — and that they should play Indiana more.

Details aren’t uber-specific about the context of the remarks, but multiple sources around the conference confirmed to Crimson Quarry that Frost had raised complaints in discussions privately and publicly that Nebraska had been saddled with a difficult of a cross-divisional Big Ten schedule in future seasons. His specific complaint? His team needs more games against historically weaker programs, citing Indiana specifically by name. Of course, that became bulletin board material for Tom Allen’s Hoosiers in the lead up to Saturday’s contest in Lincoln — and was at least part of the motivation behind some of the comments from the Indiana side after the game.

Nebraska don't want that Hoosier smoke.

Hilarious. Love that Husker commenter that failed to notice his sig line, then tried (and failed) to delete it from his original post. They can't even troll successfully.

Oh and he wasn't done...of the 40 some comments roughly 10 are from "Dark Carnage". What a douchey douche. Nebraska fans having trouble realizing they are a bottom tier team in B1G and have been for a while.

Nebraska has to evaluate where Iowa Indiana is as a program.

Where does it end?

Who knows? Maybe they'll evaluate where they are as a program. Oh man can't believe I typed with without laughing like a maniac.

Where does it end?

Not with Purdue apparently. Expecting your defense to keep a walk-on third string quarterback from driving 82 yards is too much to ask.  They're running out of worthy teams to compare. For this season, they can only hang their hat on beating the quality programs Minnesota Indiana Purdue jNW and Illinois and pulling out an instant classic against kingpin (southern) Alabama.

The most Jim Harbaugh thing ever would be to follow up an ultra-rare Top Ten victory with a loss to a 3-5 team...

This couldn't be more wrong.  UM's struggles with Top 10 teams are well documented, but the worst team they've lost to under Harbaugh is either 2015 Utah (9-3) or 2016 Iowa (8-4), and both were prime time games on the road.

...or 7-6 MSU last year (were 3-4 when they played). But overall you are correct they haven't lost to a team that finished with a losing record.

You know I don't like Harbaugh anymore than anyone else here but I don't understand the shit he gets. He brought UM back from the brink and yes he hasn't been able to get over the hump but he's brought them to a respectable level I think. As long as you win the games you're supposed to things will break right later I believe. I'd take a coach that won games they need to over Kirk losing to shit terams and fucking up good seasons any day of the week.

Much like the bugeater faithful, the Go Blue crowd has expectations to move from the dumpster to the top of the pile in four years or less. The crowd believes they are always one good coaching hire away from their natty. Yep, it is a tough spot, but it's a lot easier to progress when you have a steady stream of four and five star kids coming through.

Just for fun, compare Michigan's record for the last 19 years to Iowa's record. and then look at their preseason rankings. College football is fun, but it certainly has never been fair. Smug Jimmy knew the booby traps that come with inheriting a blue blood program with big expectations. I would almost say i feel sorry for him, but he continuously does things to make sure those words never come out of my mouth...
