' liked a lot of what I saw in the SIU-e game. There are some real positives to like; Garza improvement, Toussaint's speed, more support at point guard. Anxious to see what shows up tonight. Go Hawks.....
Well this unis are apparently cursed.
Still waiting for 2nd FB NC.
This is pretty not good
Kirk Ferentz: "The biggest thing I have is the length. It’s going to be boring as can be."
a time out finally after 23 point lead. Embarrassing display. This is what Iowa hoops has become?
Accepting that a Fertenz will be coaching Iowa for 50 years....
Xavier made the right choice, sad to say.
Cussin' the Hawks since 1971!
I guess we can look forward to wrestling.....
This is a dumpster fire. We can't stop anything, and don't have any idea what offense is. Another just above mediocre year ahead, I'm afraid.
This is bad, mmkay?
Pig shit you say? Smells like $7 Billion to me.
Also, fire Gary Barta.
Crap! Behind 40-16 with 6 minutes to play in first half is not what I expected to experience tonight.
How about those gold unis?
Kittle and the Niners are playing on MNF...
No Kittle he's hurt
Maybe CJ Beathard will play (hoping for anything here).
Has Garza always been this slow?
This is terrible coaching by Iowa. Their coach is so much smarter than Iowa's is. Their players are very comfortable and ours are lost.
So many turnovers, every pass is terrible
Just no year over year defensive improvement.
They obviously spent their time working on ball security instead of defense.
Well at least DePaul is in foul trouble? IDK I'm grasping for something positive
They're wearing blue uniforms?
12 turnovers, gotta be more than number of baskets made...
We should all get a free bowl of soup for watching this
Celebrating horizontal football since 2011
DePaul is so smooth and seem to outsmart the Hawk defense with ease. That is all coaching. I have wanted a change for some time.
Connor Mac is going for that Harry Potter look
Too bad his offense wears the Invisibility Cloak and his defense is a wonderful example of being Stupefy'd.
What the hell has Iowa sports done to me?
STILL no beer in heaven.
Hey! How about hiring DePaul's coach? I like that idea.
Can’t do that. If Iowa moves on from McCaffery, we’ll obviously head straight back to the Lickliter years. Same thing with Ferentz, move on from him and it’s straight back to the 70’s. We must stick with it and learn to love the 8-12 range in the B1G
I hope that was sarcasm.... Too much money in football (and decent by far not the best facilities) to accept or even think that. In hoops, no way that happens. (I am assuming that the current AD is not in place in order for changes in either program.)
I see what you did there.
Might want to think about JoBo taking his medical red shirt and PMac red shirting as well.
Why? They wouldn't win 6 conferences games then. And as far them looking to the future of Iowa bball this is as good as it's going to get. 6-12th place in bten, flirt with NCAA (play in games do not count), make the NIT's every so often then blame it on inexperience and/or on a senior leading scorers leaving etc
I blame this whole thing on JBo's beard.
Ugly, ugly loss to a middle of the pack team. Will be surprised if IA manages to win 7 B1G games this year.
This team is not good. That is on the head coach. Iowa will never be a contender for a B1G title under this coaching staff.
Phenomenal defensive intensity... now.
This is pathetic. Iowa will never get a championship with this coaching crew.
Apparently the AD was not hired to create championships. I fold.
Eye, you finally came to that conclusion? What took you so long? I feel your pain.
Pass the mind bleach

DePaul has talent and a big hunger to turn things around. November in Carver is just barely above a neutral site, and Iowa has wayyyy to many roster questions and so I'm not surprised to see that....
Wait, 40-16? 53-30?
Oh, FFS, Fran.
