Rutgers vs. OSU? jNW vs. Massachusetts?? Thanks, we all needed some comic relief. And we haven't even seen the game yet!

Bye bye Floyd, hoped you fattened up on all that corn.
I have to agree after last week. I don't think we will match up well with Minnesota's offense or defense. My big hope is that they played out of their mind good last week and will regress to the mean but the way that they jumped on PSU and then responded when the pressure was on looked like the real deal.
That being said, PSU did not play up to their abilities and Coach Franklin made some really questionable calls that impacted the outcome. There are still a few of us in the "they have yet to play anybody" camp. It would be nice to keep Floyd at home. He likes it here.
As our good friend MNW has pointed out, tickets to NW/UMass are going to zero dollars on seatgeek. That's right, pay the service fees, and you too can watch this game live.
Not too, 2. As in there will be 2 people in the stands if you go.
And you still won't be able to park anywhere near the stadium.
The Goofers are battle tested? They won one game. It was at there place in November which is I'd say a step up in difficulty from Iowa City in early October. Other then that they've been beating up the little sisters of the poor. They are talented and a little scary but not battle tested.
All I want to do is zoom-a-zoom-zoom-zoom
I mean "battle tested" in the sense that they've been in some difficult games and they've won them all. Their strength of schedule is not great, obviously.
Within the Big Ten, the SoS argument on Minnesota is done. They beat PSU. Nobody else has. There is nowhere close to as impressive of a win amongst the conference teams Nationally, it won't go away. They'd have to run the table and beat OSU. Of course then, ESPN would say "They did a nice job beating who they should and then they lucked out against a clearly overrated Buckeyes. It's a travesty they got instead of the third SEC school."
That is such a great picture at the top. They way they look at each other sums up my feelings towards both of those assholes.

I actually feel pretty confident for the Hawks this week. I don't think the matchups are favorable to us but there's just this feeling in the back of my mind that Floyd is staying home. We took their goalposts one year, now we get to take their dream season and flush it down the can.
Is it odd to be rooting for a ranked Michigan against an unranked school?
A good day to fry up some bacon, regardless
Iowa will attempt a half-back pass tomorrow.
MN will have a key drop of a sure Stanley Interception that influences the final score.
