If his speed and athleticism translate to the college level well, he could make our offense a lot less predictable. He could lead block, run block, or pass block as well as take a hand off or be a dump off passing option.
All I want to do is zoom-a-zoom-zoom-zoom
Class of 97 - Go Norse!
"Everybody got distracted by last week's game. Last week's game doesn't mean crap. It's what you do today." — Kirk Ferentz
So are you the father of this 16yo then?
I spent half my life's earnings on wine, women, and song. The other half I wasted.
Does he know Kirk does not allow any twedting?
I see what you did there.
But what if you know a Stacy, and her Mom's a fucking troll?
He's at that size where if he stays at 6'3", just adding another 20 lbs over the next 3-5 years will make him a solid linebacking and TE player. But if he can grow 2" (c'mon Zach, you can do it!!!) and add 40-50 lbs while keeping that speed....whoooo boys, he's a top prospect at TE or even DE
Always great to get an in-state recruit and one that had already committed verbally to ISU at that. It's great to be a Hawkeye Zach!
With the caveats that (a) yes, caring is creepy; and (b) it is still ridiculously early and these rankings will change, and a number of kids could change their minds/make decisions that don't jibe with the predictions, but the class of 2021 could be kind of bleak for ISU as far as in-state talent goes. Of the 2021 Top 10 in-state players per 247, not a single one has committed to ISU or is predicted to. Matt Campbell sure is brewing up something.
Just another garbage commenter spreading my *sshole all over the internet.
Probably a combination of reasons for the bleak outlook in Ames, among them; recent Iowa success, Matt Campbell may not be long term as the HC and too many uniform choices that obviously camouflage the team enough that fans don't know whose on the field (how dare they wear all-black uni's!!)
And then he signed a contract extension the very next day after this comment.
Doesn't take the sting away from losing Foster.
Feels like before Foster, the last big in-state basketball recruit to actually choose ISU over Iowa was Adam Haluska. I’m sort of hoping the same career path can happen for Foster.
