After last night's narrow loss to Texas A&M, Iowa's path to a Super Regional appearance is pretty difficult. They'll need to win three games in a row, including two over the Aggies. But to get a rematch with the Aggies, they'll have to win a rematch with Houston first. Iowa beat Houston on Friday night, but the Cougars stayed alive by mauling Baylor 17-3 in elimination game action yesterday. Here's guessing their bats are chomping at the bit for a rematch with the Hawkeyes. If you need a refresher on the Cougars, I'd suggest checking out Jeremy's good preview from earlier in the week.
Iowa's already used their two best starting pitchers in the Regional (Ryan Erickson on Friday, Nick Gallagher yesterday), so pitching depth is going to be a very real issue the rest of the way. But we're in lose-and-the-season's-over territory, so it will be all hands on deck for Iowa from a pitching standpoint and anyone who can throw will likely be asked to throw.
RH said either Elijah Wood or Drake Robison will start vs. Houston tmrw. Said he knows it'll likely be a piece-it-together game. #Hawkeyes

Robison produced a gem for Iowa last Sunday in the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game; let's hope he can do something similar again today.
In happier news, this afternoon's game is scheduled to be on TV instead of just an internet stream, so that's nice:
