Aaron White has been on the move often since leaving Iowa, but his pro basketball career seems to have hit a new peak in Lithuania with BC Žalgiris in Kaunas, Lithuania. As this great video shows, they really like Aaron "The Highlight" White over there:
White is doing what he does: playing above the rim and dunking the hell out of the ball again and again. Nice to see that Žalgiris has figured out the lob plays that White was so expert at finishing at Iowa. DUNK L'ORANGE
rides flies again!
Žalgiris has a narrow lead in the Lithuanian top flight lead, with a 24-4 record. They're just ahead of Lietuvos Rytas, who's 24-5 on the season. In league action, White has been a key reserve off the bench and is averaging 6.9 points per game (nice) and 4.1 rebounds per game while making 58.8% of his field goals. He's been even better in EuroLeague action, where Žalgiris is 18-12 and in line to make the playoffs for the first time since 2001. In EuroLeague games, he's averaging 9.4 points per game (third-best on the team) and 3.4 rebounds per game (second-best on the team), while converting 58.2% of his 2-point shots.
Well done, Aaron.
