This seemed very likely given the events of the last few days, but the Big Ten announced this morning that the 2020 Men's Basketball Tournament has been canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic:
The Big Ten Conference announced today that it will be canceling the remainder of the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament, effective immediately.
The Big Ten Conference will use this time to work with the appropriate medical experts and institutional leadership to determine next steps for moving forward in regard to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The main priority of the Big Ten Conference continues to be the health, safety and wellness of our student-athletes, coaches, administrators, fans and media as we continue to monitor all developing and relevant information on the COVID-19 virus.
Virtually all other conferences have also canceled their conference tournaments, except the Big East (playing right now on FS1, incredibly).
At this point the NCAA Tournament is still scheduled to begin next week, but it's really difficult to fathom it still taking place given everything that's going on. We'll update with further information as it becomes available.
