It may not be the NFL, but the Hawks are big in

Jordan Canzeri had an NFL tryout back in May but is now scoring touchdowns in the Land of the Rising Sun.
To the US of A, NFL teams are trimming their rosters to 75 this week. A couple of Hawkeyes got the dreaded pink slip already (and more may come -- we'll update the comments).
- Jordan Walsh didn't last long with the New Orleans Saints, nor did he last with the Atlanta Falcons
- James Morris made a push for second team MLB with the Dallas Cowboys, but was cut
- Marshall Koehn drilled a 45 yard FG last week but was cut by the Miami Dolphins
In some injury news, James Ferentz had a knee scoped and may miss a few weeks. Adrian Clayborn had an MRI to determine the severity of his injury. And, Tony Moeaki returned for the Chicago Bears game with the Kansas City Chiefs. He appears to be okay after leaving the week before with a tweaked hamstring.
So, how about some tweets about those former Hawks:
