Iowa needed a touchdown in the fourth quarter, and Ihmir Smith-Marsette delivered an Ed Hinkel-esque leaping grab for six.
With Iowa down 10 points late in the fourth quarter, the Hawkeyes needed someone to make a play and get six points.

Iowa got within 31-28 at that point, and the game has since gone to overtime.
The catch was reminiscent of Ed Hinkel's magical diving catch against Penn State, right down to barely falling inbounds at the back of the end zone:
If Smith-Marsette can add some consistency to this kind of athleticism, he'll be a terrific asset at wideout for a team that has needed a player like him for quite a while.
