IOWA TO TAKE ON THE USC TROJANS IN THE 2019 HOLIDAY BOWL

Iowa fans, get your sunscreen ready because the Hawkeyes are going to California:

Iowa will take on USC in the 42nd Holiday Bowl on December 27th, 2019 at 7:00 PM CST at SDCCU (San Diego County Credit Union) Stadium in San Diego, California. The game will be broadcast on FS1. 

The game will be a rematch of the 2003 Orange Bowl that pitted Pete Carroll and Carson Palmer vs. Kirk Ferentz and Brad Banks. A game that we’re pretty sure ended after the first quarter and you don’t need to look up anything further! This year’s USC is isn’t quite as dominating, going 8-4 (7-2) with losses to BYU, Washington, Notre Dame and Oregon. They’re led by true freshman quarterback Kedon Slovis and coached by Clay Helton, a guy who is apparently getting fired every other week.
