40 minutes. 40 minutes of good basketball is all that's standing between Iowa and a very elusive goal: a Big Ten championship. Iowa missed out on a share of the Big Ten regular season title after an unfortunate slip-up against Indiana near the end of the season. Today they can get a mulligan on that loss and claim a Big Ten championship by beating Maryland in the title game of  the Big Ten Tournament. Bluder's bunch hasn't won a Big Ten title of any kind since 2008 and they haven't won a Big Ten Tournament title since 2001; ending those droughts would be sweet indeed.

And there's even more than that on the line in this game, too. According to the NCAA's own release, Iowa and Maryland are virtually neck and neck for a 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament; the winner today will almost assuredly find themselves on the 2 seed line when the bracket is announced in eight days, while the loser will likely be a 3 seed.

Go get 'em, Hawks. Beat the Turtles one more time.

The usual rules apply.
