Back to the mat for Iowa as their weekend tour of Illinois wraps up with a trip to Champaign to take on #21 Illinois. Frankly, this dual looks even more lopsided than the Northwestern dual on Friday -- and Iowa won that dual 33-6.

285 #6 Tony Cassioppi (JR, 7-2)
Aaron Costello (SR, 11-2)
vs #17 Luke Luffman (SO, 11-2)

Illinois should have favored at 133, especially with Austin DeSanto expected to sit out again. I don't think they'll be favored at any other weight, though. 184 looks like a toss-up on paper, but Assad has been wrestling well lately and he's 1-0 against Braunagel in their careers, although that match was back in 2019. The only other thing that might stand in the way of another lopsided Iowa win (and quite a few bonus point victories) is lineup rotation; Iowa's preview lists several options at multiple weights. We saw limited rotation at Northwestern (just 133 and 141), so will we see more today? TBD.

I'll try to post results below, although I may be delayed in doing so. Feel free to post results and discuss the matches.
