One NY dual meet down, two more to go. After beating Army last night, Iowa heads to Albany today to take part in the Arm Bar at the Armory event. There are some other notable teams at the event (NC State and Illinois, to name two), but Iowa isn't wrestling them. Instead, they'll be tackling Sacred Heart and Buffalo. The competition is... probably not going to be fierce.

WT IOWA VS SACRED HEART
125 Aidan Harris (JR, 0-2) vs Mikey Manta (FR, 0-3)
133 #12 Brody Teske (JR, 1-0)
Cullan Schriever (SO, 1-0)
vs Andrew Fallon (JR, 1-2)
141 Drew Bennett (SR, 1-1) vs Seth Brown (GR, 0-3)
149 #7 Max Murin (SR, 2-0) vs Matt Laurie (SR, 1-3)
157 Caleb Rathjen (RS FR, 0-0)
Cobe Siebrecht (JR, 2-0)
vs Nick Palumbo (GR, 1-1)
165 #13 Patrick Kennedy (SO, 2-0) vs Adam Zarrella (FR, 1-2)
174 Drake Rhodes (FR, 1-0)
Carter Martinson (FR, 0-1)
vs Ryan Bolletino (JR, 0-4)
184 #8 Abe Assad (JR, 2-0) vs Hunter Perez (FR, 1-2)
197 #2 Jacob Warner (SR, 2-0) vs Nick Copely (SO, 0-3)
285 #4 Tony Cassioppi (SR, 2-0) vs Marc Berisha (FR, 0-3)

Sacred Heart is a Division I competitor for wrestling; they compete in the EIWA alongside the likes of Lehigh, Bucknell, Brown, and Hofstra. They're not off to a great start, though, at 0-4 on the season. Worse, they were shutout in three of those dual meets -- Lehigh blanked them 44-0, Army blanked them 39-0, and Rutgers dusted them 50-0 last weekend.

I'd expect something pretty similar from Iowa in this one. The only real question marks in terms of an Iowa win are likely 125 and 174 and while Harris and Martinson looked overmatched against Army last night, I don't think that will be as much of a problem here. I'll go with Iowa by a score of 54-0.

WT IOWA VS BUFFALO
125 Aidan Harris (JR, 0-2) vs Tristan Daugherty (JR, 1-2)
133 #12 Brody Teske (JR, 1-0)
Cullan Schriever (SO, 1-0)
vs Cole Minnick (RS FR, 0-3)
Mason Bush (RS FR, 1-1)
141 Drew Bennett (SR, 1-1) vs Jack Marlow (SO, 1-4)
Matt Ryan (RS SO, 0-0)
149 #7 Max Murin (SR, 2-0) vs Kaleb Burgess (RS FR, 2-3)
157 Caleb Rathjen (RS FR, 0-0)
Cobe Siebrecht (JR, 2-0)
vs Nick Stampoulos (FR, 1-4)
165 #13 Patrick Kennedy (SO, 2-0) vs Noah Grover (GR, 0-1)
174 Drake Rhodes (FR, 1-0)
Carson Martinson (FR, 0-1)
vs #28 Jay Nivison (RS SO, 1-1)
Marcus Petite (RS SO, 1-2)
184 #8 Abe Assad (JR, 2-0) vs Giuseppe Hoose (SR, 4-1)
197 #2 Jacob Warner (SR, 2-0) vs Eli Sherren (RS FR, 2-1)
Sam Mitchell (RS JR, 2-1)
285 #4 Tony Cassioppi (SR, 2-0) vs Greg Hodulick (GR, 1-3)

The Bulls should put up a bit more of a fight than the Pioneers, but this shouldn't be a close dual meet for Iowa, either. I don't think Iowa will get quite as many bonus points here. I also think Buffalo will win a match -- either 125 or 174, most likely. I'm going to go with Iowa 36-3.

I'll post results in the comments below.
