What people forget is that he got blasted right after he threw.
At a Buffalo Wild Wings for a game watch with the Indianapolis Alumni Association. Had my oldest (then 4) asleep in my lap. He woke up and started crying after the score because everyone was screaming their heads off.
What about Caracaras?
You are right. My apologies.
If a player is not carrying some kind of bird of prey in the tunnel for EVERY game next season, there is something wrong.
I showed these to my 14 year old. He immediately liked them. So, it DOESN'T matter what I think. If the kids like them and it potentially brings in more high end recruits, I am ALL IN on them.
That is the craziest stat of the season. Many teams celebrate a 1,000 point career and she is going to get it in one season. Absolutely UNREAL.
I will miss Baer more than most of the players that have graduated. He is everything that you could ask for in a bench player.
The look of pure joy on their faces at the end was just perfect. Let's make a run now.
I should be too mature for the caring too much. I think I'll get there when I die. But probably not.
The problem with B1G officials (and officiating nationally) in a single quote by the announcer on a foul call: "That's not a foul in the Big Ten."
My 10 year old was commenting on how bad the officials were.
Maryland couldn't buy a basket for the first 5 minutes and what were we doing, jack squat. We could have (and probably should have) been up by double digits at that point. Stupid, silly turnovers all game. The point differential off of turnovers was crazy. I honestly thought this was some of the best defense this team has played all year, but the offense took way too long to catch up.
Also, there should have been at least 7 or 8 more fouls called on Maryland. Horrible officiating.
Free throws were good....
What a fucking game!!! Couldn't watch live (church), but DVR'd it. I knew we won when my oldest comes running downstairs hyperventilating. I resisted the urge to fast forward to the end and it was worth it. GO HAWKS!!!!!!!
We did not deserve to win this game. But, a win is a win and I'll take it. And to paraphrase Little John: JBo has balls of solid rock. GO HAWKS!!!
This is exactly how I feel about Ferentz. His first year was my junior year, and I'm not sure what I would feel when he eventually retires.
Side note: I'm old.
One of the best pins I've ever seen. Right up there with Lee's splits pin from the NCAA's last year.
Not enough points allowed...
At least the women's team beat Nebraska. We can always look to them for good basketball.
