UCONN is on their 12th straight final four, and just this week got a commitment from the #1 recruit in the 2020 class. The only good thing is that there are a handful of top programs now. So they lose once in a while instead of never.
spectacular crowd, great game, amazing team. Go Hawks!
Ross, how do you feel about how stalling has been called? seems like the refs have made a decision to force action more than we've seen recently.
I'll take that over being locked in a gym, especially if they show the video over and over
big missed opportunity to get some road wins early in the season. ugh.
Duane Banks looked like least 6 inches of snow of the turf still when I walked by to Carver yesterday. If we get above freezing next week they can probably get a street sweeper thing to clear it...
Yeah, i was questioning that answer to the unanimous part as well. In the interview (and the tweet embedded above), you can see at the bottom that it notes she was unanimous by the coaches, but doesn't say anything about the media.
In the release where they put unanimous selections in CAPS, she's listed in caps on the coaches section but not the media. So I have to assume some fool in DC voted for Kaila Charles.
I thought the guards passing was a problem last night. There were times when it seemed like there were windows to get the ball down to the post, but the passing was too slow around the perimeter and the defense was able to get the help over and close the passing lane.
They won't. Gonzaga always gets to be near home, even when they are a low seed.
Like when Iowa as a 6 seed and had to face 11-seed Gonzaga in Spokane (and lost). Or when ISU was a 5 seed and got 12 seed Gonzaga in Spokane a couple years later. And the a couple years later was an 11 seed in Spokane and upset the 6 seed. Or last year as an 11, they got to play in Seattle.
Probably kills any hope of a conference title. that sucks. Rebounding was just terrible.
If i know WBB refs at all, the picture for this post probably wasn't a foul.
Those bastards gave it to someone else last week!
I think they're only going to give it to her every other week in conference play.
I could watch that one over and over. such a nice move
Still saw too many layups, though.
As much as it feels weird, I could watch that blocking clip over and over
This game was a promotion. UI employees got $5 tickets.
Yanda looks like such a giant in that video
I'm not sold on Toren over Sargent. I think it's close, but agree that IKM isn't yet what we hoped he'd be. Given the run blocking going on, they both end up spending most of their runs going straight into a lineman a yard past the LOS, so i'm not sure that it matters a whole lot
Why do Canadian footballers put all of their drinks on the felt? tsk tsk.
I certainly hope so
You mean quitting
I don't like this one. It's too close to seeming like you want MN to win.
whoops. clearly didn't preview that

If someone wants to sit up there and drink and eat ice cream and hot dogs, more power to them. Saves having to walk up and down the stairs and just think about how easy it will be to beat the traffic!
