Very possible he'll be watching from a sofa by Nov 14. Next season won't be pretty for the Fightin' Frauds.
MSU misses a chipshot field goal with three minutes to go, then intentionally fails to score (twice) just outside the goal line to end the game with a 27-21 victory. It really doesn't get more #MSUnder than that.
This is as good a place as any to drop this:
John has a long mustache. The chair is against the wall.
"What do you think of the Scott Frost extension?"
Fully support it. It'll take at least 10 years to expunge all the hoodie-wearing millennial weaklings.
"I really want Minnesota to win" - 11/14/2019
"I'm glad Iowa won of course" - 11/16/2019
Amazing what the passage of 48 hours can accomplish.
Asked and answered.
This checks out.
I noticed that as well when the starting lineups were pictured on screen prior to the game. But both starting fives had the exact same lack of diversity. DePaul is simply a (much) better team than Iowa, racial bell curves be damned.
...just 999,999 times less often than the alternative. With 3 minutes to go and the defense Iowa has, not trying the onside kick was the correct decision.
Hilarious. Love that Husker commenter that failed to notice his sig line, then tried (and failed) to delete it from his original post. They can't even troll successfully.
And the most Iowa thing ever would be having that one loss to Nebraska. With their fourth-string QB having a Steele Jantz-type career day.
Pretty sure the downvotes are for the blatant racism, and not supporting mediocrity. Yes, Iowa has white male coaches. No, those coaches aren't bad at football because of "white maleness", whatever that is...
If that's "journalism" I now have a better understanding of the low opinion in which journalists are currently held.
Supposedly the target of unopened cans of beer thrown at them from the ISU student section.
If the winner turns out to be "fan who wants to fight Bill Self", I very much wish for him to appear with the same police escort. And every time he's asked for his pick, he just glares before lunging at random hosts.
Free Husker Todd!
(on second thought, please don't)
Apparently there was some sort of creepy harassment issues by the coaching staff at a local pool.
Northwestern was the only game I attended in person last year. I cannot refute your argument.
Last year. Picked to finish 2nd behind Wisconsin, finished in a three-way tie for 2nd behind jNW.
He hasn't been kicked off the team for any misdemeanors, so I don't see that happening.
Correction! ISU has a 2% chance of getting to the championship game, and a 6% chance of the Final Four, giving a 0.06% chance of a rematch.
ISU has a 2% chance of getting to the Final Four. Rounding up Iowa's less than 1% chance to a full 1% would give a 0.02% chance of them meeting there.
Abjectly bad? Lawl. As a point of reference, Iowa was 12-15 (3-11) just 365 days ago. And while they had major problems, they were nowhere near "abjectly bad". You might want to be careful throwing around the "asholish OSU fan" insult, as it suits you to a T.
Or @fire Fran@.
