Bullock played for Iowa from 2011-2014 and ran for 1074 yards and four touchdowns during his career. He was also a threat out of the backfield in the passing game and caught 32 passes for 616 yards. He split carries with Mark Weisman and Jordan Canzeri during his four years at Iowa, although frequent and nagging injuries often limited his ability to see the field. His greatest moment as a Hawkeye came in the 2012 season opener against Northern Illinois at Soldier Field in Chicago, when he ran for 150 yards and the game-winning touchdown with 2:15 to play (skip to 2:58 in the video below for Bullock's game-winning touchdown).

Bullock was a beloved teammate, as attested by the outpouring of grief and support from former Iowa players, some of which is collected here. We also remember Bullock for his absolute mastery of Vines; his expertly-crafted short video clips weren't just "good for a football player," they were legitimately great.

He was a talented and clever entertainer, as well as a quality football player. Above all else, he was a beloved friend and son and his tragic death leaves a hole in innumerable lives. We send our condolences and our thoughts and prayers to Bullock's friends and family during this terrible loss. Rest in peace, Damon.
