Tristan Wirfs is unbelievable. Literally -- he does things that are literally almost impossible to believe. Of course, as Iowa fans we already knew that. We've had the privilege of watching him for the last three seasons and seeing go from becoming a true freshman starting at right tackle for Iowa to, just a few years later, the Big Ten Offensive Lineman of the Year. The wider world got a taste of his incredible physical tools last summer, when Wirfs displayed his super strength in a video clip that went viral:

That showing helped put Wirfs at #1 on Bruce Feldman's Freaks List last summer. But it turns out super-strength is only one of Tristan's superpowers. He showed off his full array of incredible physical skills at the NFL Scouting Combine on Friday and, well...
First there was the vertical leap, where Wirfs jumped higher than 30 of the wide receivers who competed in the drill at the combine:

Wirfs' mark of 36.5" set a combine record for offensive linemen. I mean, just look at the company leaping ability like that puts him in:

Goddamn.
I think this about sums up Wirfs' day:
No one should be that big.

And that strong.
And that fast.
But @HawkeyeFootball OL @tristanwirfs74 was in a record-setting workout.

Who needs superheroes when we've got Tristan Wirfs?
Best of all, we know that Wirfs isn't just a workout warrior or some sort of combine-induced mirage. He's also an excellent football player. We watched him manhandle opposing defenders for the last three seasons. He can't just dominate the Underwear Olympics -- he's just as dominant (if not even moreso) playing actual football.
Congratulations on absolutely crushing the combine, Tristan.
