No start time or TV information is available for any games yet, except for the Oregon State game on 11/25, which is set for 7 PM CT and will be televised by ESPNU.

We covered the non-conference portion of the schedule previously and it remains an enticing collection of games, with some big-time tests/opportunities for Iowa -- especially if the much-anticipated Iowa-UConn game happens in the Phil Knight Legacy Tournament on 11/27 (Iowa and UConn need to win their first games at that event -- against Oregon State and Duke, respectively -- to face each other in the second game). Of note: a few Big Ten conference games are sprinkled into that non-conference mix -- Iowa heads to Madison to face Wisconsin in a game sandwiched between potential Top 10 tilts with NC State and Iowa State and will face Minnesota at home after the ISU game and before the finals week break. Those are pretty good Big Ten opponents to draw in those slots and should be pretty manageable games.

The Big Ten schedule tips off in full force after Christmas, beginning with the 12/29 game against Purdue and a New Year's Day showdown with Illinois. Overall, Iowa's Big Ten slate definitely looks challenging. Michigan and Ohio State are single-play opponents for Iowa -- but both games are on the road. Iowa also has double-plays with Nebraska, Maryland, and Indiana, all within the final month of the season. If Iowa is in the hunt for another Big Ten regular season championship this year (and we certainly hope they are) they're going to have to earn it and it's likely to go down to the final games of the season, when Iowa plays at Nebraska and Maryland and hosts Indiana. Iowa won a share of a Big Ten regular season championship last season with a win over Michigan in front of a sellout home crowd -- it would be pretty fun to duplicate that experience with IU this season.

We'll update the schedule when further information (like tip-off times and TV info) become available. In the meantime -- thoughts? Predictions? Levels of anticipation for this Iowa WBB season?
